Song of the Day: "This Woman's World" by Kate Bush

For Mother's Day weekend, I am sharing one of my favorite songs about motherhood, Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work."

It's on the splendid soundtrack to "She's Having a Baby," with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern. It's a comedy, but there's some pathos in there. And, of course, Kate Bush is a goddess. But you already knew that.

There's another lovely song about motherhood on the same soundtrack. What else would you expect from a movie by John Hughes. Music to tug at your heart-strings and to get you tapping your feet.
