Battlestar Eclectica: Song of the Day: "Ponytail" by Wild Beasts
"A little bit of this. A little bit of that. A pot, a pan, a broom, a hat. . ."—Anatevka, "Fiddler on the Roof."
This is a blog about everything and nothing. A little parenting, a little humor, some poetry, news, essays, a lot of music. I don't want to waste your time, just send positive vibes into the blogosphere.
Oh, yeah, my name is Sarah Torribio. Enough about me, how are you?
This song is sexy and funky and features a touch of Nine Inch Nails/Ween production values. It's a winning combination. It's "Ponytail" by Wild Beasts, which letsloop.com informs me is in the category of art-rock along with indie-rock, pop-rock and alt-rock.
Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all these hyphenates. I say just enjoy this mid-morning wakeup call! Wild Beasts is an indie outfit, featuring vocals by Ben Little and Hayden Thorpe.
