Song of the Day: "I'm Alive" by ELO

Songs from the Xanadu soundtrack might seem like an exercise in cheesy nostalgia. The work by ELO featured in the movie/musical, however, are wonderful. Here is "I'm Alive." It's wonderful music for 1979, and for today.

Oh yeah, and since I am from the '80s, listening to songs from the soundtrack are also an exercise in cheesy nostalgia. My sister Andrea, two years older, and I had the album and listened to it religiously.
