It reminds me of my one visit to New Orleans, which is an amazing city. It's eccentric an exciting and beautiful. I ate beignets, on a cold and rainy day, in New Orleans at the famous Cafe du Mone, washed down with cafe au lait made with a coffee and chickory blend.
I don't even know what chickory is, but it was hot and tasty and the beignets were warm and sweet and light and sprinkled with sugar. Amazing emory.
The beignet sign is $28.
