I got a wake-up call from the universe to slow my roll. Stop trying to do so much stuff and spinning in circles, and stop chasing every single thought and idea.

And it wasn't a cool wake-up, like when you're a kid and sleeping with a fan and some song from KOST 103.5 comes on, perhaps "You Are the Sun, You Are the Rain" by one Lionel Ritchie—whose voice is the very sound of love—to gently nudge you out of bed. 

So, I'm taking it easy. I started a garden, including two tomatoes in, of all things, pots. They are ensconced in this fenced-in area where the loving but destructive Koda/Cody can't destroy them. And fortified with really good store-bought soil.

Baby steps. And cherry tomatoes.
