My song of the day is "Get It Right" by Diplo featuring MØ. Diplo always be getting me at like the 60-second mark with something so catchy it's unearthly. That happened to me with that Diplo/Skrillex joint featuring Justin Beiber, "Where Are U¨Now?" 'Twas that song that made me think the Beibs might hold some surprises for me, musically speaking. Bye the bye, there is an interesting cover of "Where Are Ü Now" by alt-rock powerhouse All Tvvins you might want to give a listen to.
I love the whole ambiance of "Get It Right"—the moody, vintage Lana del Rey quality of the lyrics, jettisoned into the future via mad DJing. By the way, I'm a slow learner. I thought Major Lazer was another artist but instead that's the name of a music trio Diplo helped found. I'm sure YOU knew that already.
