Any comedy I've ever seen that showed bewildered parents trying to take care of one or more whirlwind of a child. . .however exaggerated it seems. . .has been spot on about the difficulty of parenting.
I just bathed Savannah, 2, brushed her curly hair, made a ponytale, dressed her in a Hello Kitty denim dress and then watched as she tore it off her body like the Hulk.
I then dressed her in a sweater and leggings and shoes. To say she made a fuss is an understatement. I believe at one point, I uttered, "The power of Christ compels you."
"A little bit of this. A little bit of that. A pot, a pan, a broom, a hat. . ."—Anatevka, "Fiddler on the Roof." This is a blog about everything and nothing. A little parenting, a little humor, some poetry, news, essays, a lot of music. I don't want to waste your time, just send positive vibes into the blogosphere. Oh, yeah, my name is Sarah Torribio. Enough about me, how are you?
